More Than a Blind Date

This is such a fun grumpy/sunshine, accidental blind date, fake engagement, cowboy love story. They have the cutest start to their story and I loved their slow burn and sweetness, along with more of Tandy and all the fantastic guys from Stargazer Springs.

I read it in one evening, and aside from wanting to strangle the antagonists, I had a huge smile on my face the whole time, because Dallas matched their actions with sweetness and support in every situation. He encompasses the protective cowboy vibe, for sure, and the found family of the Stargazer Springs is one of my very favorite things.

This is the ninth book in the Cowboys of Stargazer Springs Ranch series which also loosely ties in with the Never Say Never and Stargazer Springs series, so it is filled with so many fun little crossovers and Easter eggs. It can totally be read as a stand-alone. And I am SO thrilled that we are getting one more book in this series, I didn't want it to be over!

The relationship between Dallas and Rose may have started out as fake because of her controlling mother and the nasty guy she was trying to force Rose to marry, but they are good for each other. She makes him smile and takes away his grumpiness and he makes her be brave when giving in would be easier. I loved her sweet kitty and I would be the same way if someone tried to take mine away from me. Dallas goes to bat time and again against her mother's machinations, but he is afraid that like his ex Rose will choose them over him. They have communication problems with their relationship and he struggles to get past the age difference. But his matchmaker aunt and all his friends are amazing and encouraging.

No silly mind games, just people trying to make a life with the person that they love while taking care of their friends. Living well, working hard and loving with all their hearts and souls. 5*

MORE THAN FALLING IN LOVE, #3 - Plenty of matchmakers in this cute, sweet romance. Mason has a great part and the rest of the Stargazer crew is right in the thick of it all. Well written. Lots of fun. Lots of romance in the works. 5*

MORE THAN A SILLY CRUSH, #4 - The Stargazer series, all three of them, have been nothing but entertaining, filled with love, humor and wonderful characters. Combined with well written and thoughtful story lines that meld all the books together, it is difficult to put any of these books down. This is a fun and loving story about patience and best friends. 5*

MORE THAN A GOOD FRIEND, #5 - I enjoy the dry sense of humor, not mean but cute bits here and there, as well as the regular funniness, and fun, for which the Stargrazer books are known. Ole Hidalgo finally grows up and sees Goldie as she actually is, instead of taken for granted. Lovely story. 5*

More Than a Blind Date is a hilarious addition to the Cowboys of Stargazer Springs Ranch series. Rose's desperation leads her to try to find a fake fiance from her blind dates. Dallas's protective instincts cause him to agree. Both are very likeable characters, and I enjoyed the change of POV's from one chapter to another. There's a wonderful HEA, an exciting epilogue that focuses on the main characters for the next book, and even a bonus epilogue for Dallas and Rose. Author Remi Carrington is a seasoned pro at writing romantic comedies, and this one does not disappoint. I definitely want to read the next book in this series and other works by this author.

More Than a Blind Date is the eighth book in the Cowboys of Stargazer Springs Ranch series. While those who have read the previous books in the series will love seeing previous characters make appearances throughout, this could definitely be enjoyed as a standalone as well.

From the moment that I read the preview of Dallas and Rose's story at the end of the last book, I was hooked and couldn't wait to read this one. It absolutely did NOT disappoint. This is perhaps one of my very favorite meet cutes ever and it only got better from there. Despite Dallas's claims of being an eternal bachelor, he took to the part of devoted fiance incredibly well... perhaps a little too well. The chemistry between these two was absolutely fantastic, and I just adored how thoughtful and caring Dallas was towards her. He was so protective, and I absolutely loved it. Rose's family dynamic was... complicated to say the least, but I loved watching her growth as the story went on and how he supported her through it all. This series is a favorite of mine and I have truly adored every single book so far... but this one is definitely a new favorite! I loved it!

More Than a Blind Date is a closed-door romance with kisses only on page and no language. There is one slight fade to black moment, but it is between a married couple and VERY subtle.

I have loved every single book in this series and this one was no exception! I laugh-snorted and cried all within the first part of the book! Dallas and Rose may be my favorite couple! It's kind of a tie between them and Parker/ Bluebonnet� but it's close!

Dallas is known around his friends as kind of a grumpy bear, but he is all teddy bear with Rose - protective, provider, gentle, and he pays attention! And Rose� she is just a ray of sunshine. I love her character arc as she learns to stand up for herself and be brave, and Dallas provides the perfect amount of encouragement and support without stifling her growth at all. Plus� it's an age-gap romance, which is one of my absolute favorite tropes!

This book was a quick read - binged it in one day! It's the perfect beach read or when you just need a feel-good book that will leave you swooning for days. Happy Reading!

What I'm trying to say is, family are the people who circle the wagons and help you when you need it. The people who love you no matter what. That's family.

I loved this story and I wasn't ready for it to end. It allowed me to switch off, relax and read which is a huge stress reliever. I loved the characters of Rose and Dallas. While it was a fake relationship story, I felt that Remi brought new elements to a classic trope.

It is part of a series "Cowboys of Stargazer Springs Ranch". It can be read as a standalone but I feel like you will want to go back and read all the interconnected stories because you enjoyed this one. While this is the second to last book in the series, I really hope Remi will write side character Mason's story one day.

Loved every chapter! It was refreshing reading a romance book with a short king! Dallas and Rose were a perfect pairing. Dallas was just the right level of supportive of Rose and her parents. The play on names is so fun and the characters are unique. I can't wait to read the rest of the books in this series!

I love that this is part of a series but can be read alone. I'm new to Remi's work, but after just the first few paragraphs in the never say never series I became hooked. I cannot wait to catch up on the rest of this series!
We all know someone who is a people pleaser, trying to do everything they can to make others happy, even if it's not what they want. Rose is that person in the story, but she hatches a plan to try getting out of the one thing she really does not want-get married to someone she can't stand. When her blind date walks out passing off her way of knowing who she is meeting, cowboy Dallas comes to her rescue. Dallas helps Rose find her backbone, finally standing up to her mom and helping her grow up being her own person. This story is full of all the feels, leaves you laughing, angry, and maybe a bit misty eyed. I highly recommend!

Remi's books are always ones that I know I'm going to like, so I put them aside as special & when I finally pick it up, I also always wonder why I waited! ?? I loved seeing Dallas finally fall for someone! He was stubbornly against getting into a relationship in the past books of this series, even with his Aunt Tandy's attempts to convince him otherwise. I loved that when the perfect person for him showed up, he just couldn't help himself and felt the need to be there for her. I loved that Rose brought that out of him. I loved that Dallas stood up for Rose when needed, but that Rose also grew to be willing/able to do it for herself too. And after that epilogue, I'm really excited about the next book!

Oh my, what a great book! It had many laugh-out-loud moments and lots of swoony instances, as well. I really enjoyed the time that Dallas and Rose spent pretending to be engaged. It was quite clear that it was more than pretend for both of them. I liked how sweet and thoughtful Dallas was, as well as how protective he was of Rose, even from the beginning. Once the pretend engagement was over, Dallas had to learn to communicate, and he had some great people in his corner helping him figure it out. It was really good to see more of the old friends from previous books. This book was well written and kept me reading way too late into the night. It is definitely worth reading!

I am in love with this book! This is book 8 of the series but the first one I have read. I loved it so much that I immediately went to the authors website and downloaded the entire series!

Rose has a plan on how to take control of her life instead of being forced into the plan her parents have for her. They want her to marry their best friend's son, but she wants nothing to do with him. She comes up with a plan that is sure to work in her favor.

Dallas is a cowboy that has watched most of his friends find the love of their lives. He tried that path once before and he doesn't want to do it again. He swore off love and intends to stay single the rest of his life.

You'll love the way these two meet! They are both great people and it was so fun to watch their story develop! Highly recommended!

This is the first book by this author and it won't be my last. The characters in this book kept me entertained. I loved this fast paced story about Rose and Dallas. You will not be disappointed with this book.

Sigh. All good things come to an end, and boy, was I sorry to reach the end of Dallas and Rose's story. They are an amazing duo. From the moment Rose sees him I was hooked. Dallas' protective nature�. swoon worthy.

I loved this book! Rose and Dallas are one of my favorite couples in this series. Sparks where flying at the very beginning so not so sure this was fake - well maybe the engagement. Loved her brother and her parents were a nightmare. Seeing these two get to know each other was so sweet and often riddled with angst but from outside forces not from them. One of the best endings and the epilogue made me tear up.

I absolutely loved this one and Dallas has easily become my favorite Stargazer cowboy. This book is utter perfection and I will forever gush about it. Truly enjoyed reading it! Loved Dallas's caring of Rose and his support of her. I love how she found a home with him. This was fake engagement done right!

Rose's mother is an overbearing horror of a human being and it's not surprising Rose chose the unconventional option. Dallas is such a sweetheart as he not only stands up for Rose but gives her the strength to stand up for herself also. I adored both Rose and Dallas and their story is delightful. I also hadn't appreciated the other female character surnames before - amusing and clever. Love this series.
